This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.
.DAY ONE...Tonight...
A line of showers and thunderstorms will move east-southeast across
north and portions of central Georgia through the evening hours. A
few storms may briefly approach severe levels with gusty winds, small
hail, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday...
Scattered thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon before pushing
out after sunset. After a period of dry weather, thunderstorms will
be possible Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight. Please submit

...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern Gilmer,
northeastern Murray and west central Fannin Counties through 715 PM
EDT...
At 641 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Crandall, or near
Chatsworth, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
ground lightning.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
light, unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Chatsworth, Eton, Crandall, Conasauga Lake, Tennga, Sumac, Cisco, and
Gregory.

People outdoors should seek shelter immediately. If you can hear
